ARREST - Shoplifter Arrested by Junction Officers

After taking a report of a shoplifting last week on Junction Road, PC De Souza Goncalves recognised and identified the suspect. After doing some enquiries he tracked down the suspect and arrested them for shoplifting. PC De Souza Goncalves was accompanied by PC Miah and PC Simpson. An excellent piece of work by the team using their local knowledge to not only recognise the offender but also establish their whereabouts. The suspect has been taken to custody and charged for the offence.
